God is in control
The Lord’s blessings to you all.
There’s a lot of talk about the middle east conflict, it has been going on for centuries brought on by
disobedience. Judges 2 v1-4 & 6 v 8-10 (Jesus angel of the Lord) Genesis 16 v 7, led them, fought
for them, fed and clothed them and they turned their backs on him.Numbers 33 v 55, they did not
drive out the inhabitants of the land, the land belongs to God and now they are barbs in their eyes
and thorns in their flesh. God has always taken the initiative, things happen because He chooses,
no-one can force His hand, He is in the arena of history, fighting for His loved one’s God never
speaks simply to convey information but to achieve results. He spoke and it happened, He
commanded and it came to being. Psalm 53 v 39 & Isaiah 55 v 11 the word of the prophet is a
statement of God’s intention combined with a demand for man’s cooperation.
Amos 3 v 7 & Genesis 18 v 17 surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His secret plan
to His servant. Revelation 16 v16-21 God’s kingdom most certainly will come and His Will, will be
done. His plan from the beginning Isaiah 9 v 6.
Do not let your heart be troubled and do not worry about what is happening in our world today
because our Father God is in control and nothing can thwart His purpose.
Look to the great white throne and the Lord Jesus Christ who has conquered death and hell, make
no mistake the Lord will minister true justice and punishment to fit the crime.
As a nation we ought to be mindful and watchful as watchmen on the wall.
Please read 1Peter 1 v3-9 for comfort.
Have a blessed season
Mick

O Come Let Us Adore Him
(Definition) Adoration is often defined as praising God for who God is. In adoration, the Triune God:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the object of our worship and exaltation. We praise the very nature
of God, reminding ourselves that the Father is the most holy, almighty creator of the universe.
The carol sung at this time of the year, O come all ye faithful has the refrain ”O come let us adore
Him Christ the Lord”. This surely is what we believers are called to do every day to adore our dear
Lord. Having come to our earth for thirty three years Jesus understands our concerns and He was
offered up on the cross to take our sins away to give us eternal life with Him.
Jesus ChristWitnesses God’s Victorious Army
John 3:16
For God so loved the world
that He gave His onlybegotten
Son, that whoever
believes in Him, should not
perish but have everlasting
life.
That is the greatest gift of all! Whether we celebrate Christmas or not we can surely rejoice that we
have a Triune God who loves us.
May the Lord grant you His grace and peace.
Roy.

Trusting God
We have just finished reading the book of Daniel. In this we are told of three young men who stood
up for what they believed in, by refusing to worship a false God. King Nebuchadnezzar, at the time,
then orders that they be thrown into a fiery furnace to die. Because of their faithfulness, they
survived unharmed.
King Nebuchadnezzar’s reaction to this was “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and
Abed-nego. (14-26). In this we see the right way to hold on to our faith and beliefs, trusting God
with the outcome. God may miraculously preserve our lives, or he may not.
But this must not change how we respond to anyone who tests our faith.
God Bless Dave & Lin
Have a happy and blessed Christmas

My eyes have seen your salvation
Luke 2 25-32, And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man
was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.And it
had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the
Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child
Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed
God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to
Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all
peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
Simeon had a very unique promise in that he was told by the Lord he would not leave this world
without witnessing the advent of the Messiah coming in the flesh. God was faithful to his word. We
may not have been party to that blessed world changing event but we can say each of us who
know the Lord’s calling that we have seen the salvation of the Lord in our lives.
1 Peter 1: 8 says;’ whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing,
you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory’,
We await a time when we shall see him as he is.
One day we will see Him: 1 John 3: 2 ‘Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet
been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him,
for we shall see Him as He is’.
At Christmas we remember when the king of kings entered our fallen world to show us the way
back to God and to save us. He so loved us that he laid his life down and took our punishment. He
has defeated sin, the devil and laid up for us the gift of life.
Our journey in this world may take different twists and turns but through it all God will keep us in
his love and receive all of those who have placed their hope in Jesus.
Praise God
We pray the our newsletters give hope and comfort in these difficult times.

Greetings
God’s blessing to you all.
By God’s good grace we have just completed all the shows this year and it’s not been without its
challenges.
At Chale show on the Saturday, we had to fight against a gale and torrential rain and our marquee
survived and we all managed to keep safe.
Psalm 71v9 say’s “do not cast me off in old age, do not forsake me when my strength fails” and
v18 “now also when I’m old and grey headed, O God do not forsake me.”
I looked in the mirror the other day and saw that the muscle that was once on the top of my arm is
now underneath but praise the Lord.
Psalm 92v13 “those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our
God” and in V14 ” they shall still bear fruit in old age, they shall be (fat) fresh and flourishing.”
Our great vine dresser will prune us to bear fruit for His glory.
Grey hair may slow us down but it shouldn’t stop us.
We continue to go out on the streets to try and make the invisible God visible, that “We may teach
transgressors your ways and sinners shall be converted unto you”.
We may feel like a bruised reed or smoking flax but He will not leave us or forsake us, He will give
us strength to serve.
Every blessing Mick.

Busy Summer
The Lord has blessed us with a busy summer season where we were able to attend both Chale
and Wolverton shows. Our face painters had lots to do as many children wanted their faces
painted, the most popular design was the unicorn. We welcomed Wendy who has joined our face
painting team.
We had many opportunities to witness for our dear Lord and we do pray that seeds sown will
produce fruit in it’s season. Saturday at Chale will be remembered for many years to come owing
to the stormy weather and the cancellation of the show that day. Sunday made up for the lost day
as the show was well attended. This year at Wolverton our site was placed near the canoe lake.
We were blessed as the weather was very good both days and again this show was well attended.
We continue to take our bus out on Tuesday Freshwater, Wednesday Wroxall and Thursday
Shanklin from 7pm. The Lord provides encounters with those who need Him in their lives.
Your prayer support is always greatly appreciated.

Thoughts on the letter of James
James tells us that there is the testing of our faith and this should produce patience. How often
when faced with various trials we take our eyes off the Lord and find ourselves floundering. We
turn this way and that rather than trusting that the Lord is working for our ultimate good.
I am not pretending that it is easy but we can trust Him as He has promised “Never to leave us or
forsake us”. If you are going through a difficult time then ask those you know who love the Lord
to pray for you and support you where needed.
Every blessing Roy.

Forthcoming AGM
Our annual general meeting is scheduled for Friday October 27th at 7pm. This will be online
rather than a physical meeting. If you would like to attend then please contact Roy Moul either by
phone or email as displayed at the bottom of our newsletter.
God’s Questions
We have all heard of the what is called a searching question’. It is a question that goes straight to
the heart of a matter and challenges your thinking with the effect that it requires an honest answer
even if it makes the responder uncomfortable.
God’s reason is to challenge us; to consider that state of our own hearts; to set us straight; to draw
us from ourselves and to meet with him. There are particular places in scripture where God asks
specific individuals or audiences such a question, but we see that these very questions also are for
us to consider.
Job asked the Lord questions about his suffering but instead of directly answering the question,
God asks Job a question. ‘Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?’ He asked Job
77 questions in all that covered the realms of cosmology, oceanography, meteorology and the world
of animals but they all stem from that first question.
God did reveal Himself to Job who came to know that the purpose of God is way, way bigger and
higher than we can fathom. Job replied that he spoke of what he did not know, things too
wonderful for him to comprehend. There is one that could answer God’s question on our behalf
who is qualified to say ‘I was there when you laid the foundation of the earth (see Hebrews 1v 10)
because he created it himself – John 1 v 1-3. Colossians 1 – 15-17.
He could also in his humanity identify with our suffering. He knew the path of pain, what it was to
be terribly alone, abandoned and falsely accused. The Lord Jesus Christ not only identified with us
but he stood in our place to deal with the very thing that caused all of the suffering and pain. He
took our sin though he himself was without fault.
God does not always answer our questions in the way we might expect or wish, but he has
answered our questions through the incarnation, life, death & resurrection of Jesus Christ.
To him be glory and praise, now and forever.
Thank you for your continued interest and support this we greatly value.
Every blessing to you and your families

Summer greetings.
Rev 3 v 20 Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come into him and dine with him and he with me.
The time is drawing near to Chale show, always a challenge, no problem spirituality, physically
now that is a different matter.
The soil in the garden is ideal at the moment for seed sowing, not so good for growing them( lack
of rain),the show is also a time for sowing the seeds (the word of God).
It is sad that people are so indifferent to the things of God, how good and kind He is.
We should not be surprised they rejected Jesus’ word’s, he only wanted to do them good and even
in the book of Revelation how God gave them time to repent the trumpets were just part
judgement, but the bowls are God’s righteous wrath completed and still they blasphemed and
would not repent.
Jesus came to give us new life, like the seed when it goes into the soil it dies and is transformed.
That which rises is different to that which was sown, it is the same with us when we die to self, we
are raised to new growth in the dear Lord (and escapes the terrible day of the Lord).
Please read John 3 v 16,17,18,36. see God does not condemn us, we condemn ourselves by not
believing God’s kindness.
John 5 v 24 most assuredly I say to you, he who hears my word and believes in Him has
everlasting life and shall not come into judgement but has passed from death into life,
Hallelujah, wonderful.
I trust we are the right side of the door and NOT shut out.
Every blessing Mick

Chale Show (week end 5th and 6th August)
We are looking forward to the show, it is family friendly and always a good opportunity to witness
for the Lord. If you do attend the show please come and greet us as we shall be pleased to see
you there. We also hope to be at the Wolverton garden show in September.
Bus Outreach
We continue by God’s grace to witness on:
Tuesday. Moa Place car park Freshwater from 7pm.
Wednesday. Car park Wroxall from 7pm
There is always a welcome and a cuppa if your passing by.

Psalm 139
When I read this psalm this morning I was struck on how intimately God our Heavenly Father
knows each of us. What a blessing it is to know that He loves and cares for us. The price Jesus
paid for our redemption was indeed very costly, so being blood bought we should love and serve
Him all the more.
I love that verse which says Psalm 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. We are truly blessed indeed!
Every blessing Roy
Garden Visitors
For a few months, we have had a fox coming into our garden on a regular basis, she now has 4
cubs. We have been feeding her, from a distance at first, gaining her trust over time, she now
takes food from our hand, and has started to bring her cubs in. She was fearful at first, but now at
7pm she is sat waiting for us, and trusting enough to bring her babies along.
This has brought to mind, Proverbs 3 v 5-6 saying Trust in the lord with all your heart and soul,
and lean not on your own understanding and he will make our paths straight.
We can find this one of the most comforting verses, when we are facing difficulties. Trusting in
God means we don’t need to do it on our own, he is our source of protection.
Psalm 37v5 Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him, and he will act.
We may not understand the difficulties or situations we find ourselves in, but God does.
God bless. Dave&Lin

Prayer Clock
Eph 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end
with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints NKJV. Thank you to all who not only
support us with prayer but also pray for all Christian outreach.
“When I stand before the throne Dressed in beauty not my own; When I see thee as thou
art, Love thee with unsinning heart; Then, Lord, shall I fully know- Not till then-how much I owe.”
Quoted by C H Spurgeon.
Help from the Psalms
Recently Psalm 46 has kept cropping up. We might be overwhelmed at the moment, with the
worry of things going on in the world, mental health issues, sickness, money problems. Fear of
what the future may hold. The psalmist was going through the storms of life, but we need not fear
as God is in control and said “ I will not leave or forsake you”. We will not have to go through
anything again alone for he is with us all the time. The first verse of the Psalm says God is our
refuge and strength a very present help in trouble.
God bless. Heather.
