Jesus is the Way
The Lord’s blessing to you all. Praise the Lord we have just finished another Chale show and it was a great blessing. We had a young person who shared with us on how difficult they found it to live at this time, and a week later a very much older person also said the same thing as he was weighed down with anxiety, guilt, shame and unforgiveness etc.
Proverbs 12v25, says “An anxious heart weights a man down but a kind word cheers him up”.
He was trying to make sense of life’s course without a pilot on board to guide him.
Proverbs 16v9, says “In his heart a man plans his course but the Lord determines his steps”.
Proverbs 20 v24 shows us “that a man’s steps are ordered by the Lord, how then can a man understand his way”. The great captain of our lives said “ I am the way.” Jesus is the answer.
1 Peter 5v7 AMP “(Casting the whole of your cares all your anxieties all your worries all your concerns once and for all) on Him (Jesus) for He cares for you affectionately and cares for you watchfully). Of course without the dear Lord leading us we are only existing in a fallen world.
So we shared the gospel with him which is the power of God unto salvation and he responded in a truly penitent way and made a good confession to God’s glory. Without your love, prayers and support we couldn’t have helped that man find the dear Lord Jesus Christ.
We share this for your encouragement and for the glory of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all honour, glory and praise be unto them. With much love in Our dear Lord. Mick.

Gods Word brings Life
In August my wife Margaret and I celebrated our 60th Wedding Anniversary. Looking back 1959 may seem a long time ago and a lot has changed since then but not always for the better, then nearly everybody got married in Church. Back then Margaret and myself were non believers and the local vicar informed us that if we wanted him to marry us in his Church we would have to go on a six week marriage course. I was very reluctant but we went on this course. After a couple of sessions I began to enjoy the quotes from the Bible. I am convinced those words were the seeds that finally produced fruit 23 years later when I came to accept Jesus Christ as my Saviour in 1982. We have had 60 years of happily married life and been blessed with two girls. I have been a member of the team for over 20 years enjoying sharing the word of God with mainly young folks in Wroxall and Ventnor. Today due to my advancing years at 85 years old I can just about manage an hour sharing the holy word on Ryde seafront for God’s word gives life.

Sharing with others
It can be a fearful thing to contemplate sharing ones faith with someone outside of the Christian faith and maybe seem daunting or best left to those who feel called or have a natural gift of evangelism. We are all called to be witnesses in word and deed, both go together but the part of speaking to friends, colleagues or strangers, with their questions can get the better of us, but there is at the same time such a wonderful motivation to not give up, but to pursue opportunities as the dear Lord leads. Be encouraged to pray for daily opportunities. Yes, it can seem as though we would be embarrassed or ashamed to do so but we can remember that our Lord Jesus was not ashamed of us when He nailed our sins to the cross, but so loved us that he came for each one of us to be united to Him in love. The King eternal who called the heavens including every star, every atom into being is willing to be associated with each one of us even when we were in our lost state of unbelief and rebellion. We can’t force others to believe and know what we know, but we are called to speak the truth in love and what a motivation that is. I think we are all the same when it comes to being nervous about sharing the gospel, but the Lord can use any one of us however insignificant or weak we may feel in that situation. Sharing the gospel is precious seed sowing and it glorifies God to do so. It is a great opportunity also to grow in our faith and in our Christian walk. We are called to deny ourselves to follow Jesus and that is at the centre of the gospel. It is always worth it and who knows; sometimes people do get saved when God waters that precious seed. Amen.

Gods Provision
Genesis 8 v 22 is Father God’s promise “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer and day and night shall not cease”. It is always good to give thanks for His provision and promise especially at this time of year. We can appreciate the fulfilment of His word when we see the abundance at harvest time . May we always be thankful for His gracious supply and trust Him for the future.
Every blessing Roy

We thank you for your continued encouragement and support.
