Easter Greetings<\/strong><\/span>
\nEaster greetings to you all, once again the season for sowing has arrived, in Numbers 11 we
\nread how the people complained and the Lord heard it and was displeased. Again the people were
\nnot satisfied with heavenly food as they craved and lusted for the food from Egypt. They soon
\nforgot the slavery and brutal whip of their task master.
\nNot satisfied with the heavenly manna and the kindness of God. God’s manna’s colour was
\nlike bdellium (bedo\/lach) white frost on the ground considered as a precious stone,
\nRev2:17 please read: Israel had lost what God was doing for them, setting them free, making a
\nnew nation, new land protecting them, feeding them, they could only think of what He wasn’t doing
\nfor them, only about food that then sowed dissatisfaction.
\nThe manna white stone are a foreshadow of the Lord, what we sow is not made alive unless it
\ndies, it must have the right conditions in Cor 15:3 5 as Paul likens our resurrection, but growth in a
\ngarden seed placed in the ground will not grow unless it dies, the plant that grows is very different
\nfrom the seed that was sown, because God gives it a new body (1Cor 15:42) please read, what
\nwas sown in corruption raised incorrupt, sown in dishonour raised in glory, sown natural, raised
\nspiritual. We are in grafted wild olive branch into the true vine.
\nI grafted my own tomatoes from old disease resistant root stock, sown both together, when a
\ngraft is taken you grow on your variety from perfect root stock. Jesus is the perfect root stock we
\ndraw our goodness from Him, our lily of the valley is starting to grow in our garden and will fill the
\ngarden, and we are the fragrance of Jesus to God who are being saved and among those who are
\nperishing. Question? What kind of seed are we sowing, do we complain, grumble, murmur about
\nthe weather, against the bread from heaven? We must be careful because He will hear, let us sow
\nseed that will last for eternal life in our risen Lord Jesus Christ.

\nHow strange that souls whom Jesus feeds with manna from above,
\nShould grieve Him by their evil deeds and sin against His love.
\nBut ’tis a greater marvel still that He from whom they stray,
\nShould bear with their rebellious will and wash their sins away.

Walking The Cross Witness<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt is with great regret that we will not be able to carry out this witness this year for a number
\nof reasons. It has been an honour to serve the Lord in this way for many years and we hope to
\ncontinue in the future should circumstances and health allow.
\nEaster A Time For Reflection
\nNow springtime is here, we see nature renewing itself with fresh growth on the trees and new
\nlife all around. With longer daylight hours and warmer weather to enjoy we give thanks. Father
\nGod has set the seasons for us as He controls all things. It is good to marvel at creation and give
\nthanks to Father God for His generous supply as He sustains all things.
\nThe greatest gift God has given to mankind was His only Son who was born at Bethlehem as a
\nman to identify Himself with us. As the scriptures say \u201cFully God and Fully Man\u201d. Long ago in the
\ngarden of Eden when Adam and Eve fell into sin by their disobedience we have suffered as
\nmankind with the sin nature and this has separated us from God. We needed a redeemer! Jesus
\nChrist truly is our redeemer as He took all our sin when He suffered and died on the cross.
\nWithout His sacrifice we would be lost forever. Every Easter is a good time to reflect, have we by
\nHis grace grown in our relationship with Him or are we drifting?
\nThe miracle of Easter Sunday truly inspires as Jesus rose from the dead and is alive in Heaven
\ninterceding for all who call Him as Lord and Saviour. There is one question we all need to answer
\nis Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour if not, why not?

Trusting God<\/strong><\/span>
\nProverbs 3 v 5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own
\nunderstanding.
\n\u2018Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
\nIn all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths\u2019.
\nDo we do this? Do we find it hard? God knows what he is doing.
\nWhy we should trust him: –
\nHe knows better than we do (James 1-6). All things are possible with God (Mark 9-23)
\nHe is worthy of our trust, and wants the best for us.
\nDo read the story of Joseph and how he trusted God. Genesis chapters 37-50.

The Ascension<\/strong><\/span>
\nAct 1:6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at
\nthis time restore the kingdom to Israel?” Act 1:7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know
\ntimes or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. Act 1:8 But you shall receive
\npower when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem,
\nand in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Act 1:9 Now when He had spoken
\nthese things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
\nAct 1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood
\nby them in white apparel, Act 1:11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into
\nheaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner
\nas you saw Him go into heaven.” From NKJV.
