Night time in our towns and cities would open the eyes of many people to the street culture. If you think this does not include the Isle of Wight, then think again. There is a state of crisis on our streets and all the indications are that it is getting worse. Alcohol, hard drugs, sex abuse and physical violence are all too common. The Bus Project is continually using Gods love to address this problem. Maybe we can inspire you to support us or set up a similar scheme in your area? "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. - Jeremiah 17v 7,8.Greetings from the Bus Team and Trust We would like to express our thanks as always for the kind support and generous gifts from Gods people. We are also mindful of the invaluable prayer support for this ministry. It is such an encouragement to know that we receive this support. We all have our part to play whether witnessing on the bus or praying from home. We do not labour in vain and God gives the increase in His own good time. We wish to thank the West Wight Churches Together for their faithful support, and for also giving us a substantial donation from the funds raised through the Lenten brunches. Thank you so much for blessing us in this most practical way. We also wish to thank Christchurch Totland for having so generously covered the costs of the bus body repairs. This was most unexpected. Thank you so much. As an outreach we are reminded that it is God's harvest field and that we are sent out to work in it. We pray that we may never lose sight of this calling. The sin of presumption is one to be avoided at all costs. We are aware that if we take hold of the reigns then we are in danger of missing God's will. Thanks be to God that He has continued to show us His way by adding new converts to His church.
